Sacrifices

I've been working for 2 years here in Singapore. My husband is still in Philippines, trying to finish his university degree. Before our plans is for him to follow me after he graduated, but now he wanted me to goback to Philippines and settle (temporarily) until such time he finish his degree and find a work abroad, then we will go together. I am willing to sacrifice for him to be happy, but my worry is our current finances.... we might end up with broken finances.

Would appreciate your kind advices. Thank you.

i've been thinking a lot of things, scouting jobs in Philippines, scouting business to put up in the Philippines to be our bread and butter. My husband cannot transfer here as student, tuition fee in Singapore is very costly especially for foreigners.
thank you for your time reading my post and replying to me. Appreciate it a lot.

Hm.  Well, if your job markets there are anything like they are in the US, changing jobs is difficult these days.  How much longer does he have in school?  I think it is a valid concern that you need to make money.  I'd not leave Singapore unless you have employment set back in the Philipeans.  If that is too tricky, I don't know if I'd risk it.  You could talk to your current employer and maybe take a short leave of absense.

Could your husband transfer to a school in Singapore?

I do think it is best if a couple can live together----------- but you have to have an income.  Financial struggle can cause marital stress in its own right.
good luck
