If you two are such good friends, why didn't you ASK to borrow the money? Wasn't there any other options besides stealing from him? I can't say I blame him for not wanting to talk to you anymore, but I do hope you two can work it out. We all make mistakes, especially when we are in desperate need for something. Doing something like this to your BFF though, isn't cool. Hopefully you have apologized and maybe with time it will work itself out but don't be surprised if he is weary of you for a long long time. Good luck!
There's nothing you an do, slimshady.
You had a 100 other choices besides to steal from your best friend of 7 years.
He's smart, and he doesn't want any part of you anymore because you stole from him, and you still defend yourself saying you had no other choices.
You don't get it.
i wouldn't want to be your friend anymore either. you pretty much stole from him. whether you were planning on giving him back his money or not...you lied and took his money. that's a bad friend.
Friends don't steal from friends. And you always have another choice, you saying you had no choice is you trying to convince yourself and others what you did was not that bad and you did it for your own survival.
You broke his trust. It's not so much about the money as it is about that. You should've just asked him if you could borrow the money. If he's a true friend and had it to give then he would've. The way you did it was intentionally to steal it from him, regardless if you were planning on giving it back. I agree with Lonelymom, take a step back and just let it be.
I have been desperate for money before but never have I frauded a friend whether they had the money or not. I don't blame your friend for being upset with you and not wanting anything to do with you anymore.
Please walk away from him. Maybe with time he will forgive you but right now I wouldn't be trying to get his friendship back.
