I often think what would it be like if only we existed. At time we go day by day taking others for granted and at times using others for our own gain. Many times are not even aware we are doing it as it comes so natural. Then the reality of the importance of others hits home. We need to borrow money to pay a bill, we become sick and need a doctors aide, we are lonely and no one to give us a hug, no shoulder to cry on, no love to give.
And most of all we would be left to our own demise. Our questions would go unanswered, our thoughts would have none to compare , there would be no one to thank us and no one to thank, and all the blame would be on ourselves.
I gave it some thought today and wrote the below but bottom line i think people are great!
"Such a sad ending to a happy life. With all light and hope we are left in darkness and doom.
Running around the world as fast as our feet can carry, we are set lifeless in a hole, quiet and alone."
When I was younger, and before I had children of my own, I took a lot for granted. I think when people are in their youth, and don't have much life experience it is easy to take much for granted. I think the older we get we start to realize how priceless friendships and family relationships are ~ and how difficult they are to replace... Unfortunately experiencing a past loss can sometimes teach us a deeper appreciation for the present lives surrounding us, and just how significant they really are...
