When he doesn't want to go to a family event and tells you at the last minute, "Oh, today were were invited to Marisa's birthday"....when the party will start in a few hours"...then has an excuse to watch sports :)
Julie . . . I agree. I just loveddddd those tickets to a game featuring my husbands favorite basketball team for my birthday! t shirt to match . . . LOL
hahaha Julie, completely. and I totally get what you mean about the guys now...how wude!
when it's your birthday and your guy gets you a pressy, but the thing is it anit really for you, it's for him cause when you unwrap it it's some sexy underware, then he wants a massive thank-you and expects to get lucky.....pppfffff
LOL.... there is nothing wrong with a guy approaching a woman and i dont have a problem with that either but what i mean't was when the guy calls over to me saying stuff like 'you look like you have black in you' and once i fell for it and said 'er no im english, full white' and he said 'well would you like some in you'...... i told him to go suck his own doo darr...dirty so n so. Or when i get some guy run up to me telling me i have a lovely backside and how they want some.... as if i'm gona say ohh i have found the love of my life, please be mine FOREVER!!! lol.
When you approach a woman all you have to do is show her respect, no cheecy chat up lines, be yourself and add a little humour and you'll do well.
I hate it too when we are talking in the mall or something and my bf starts raising his voice at me ( I usually start walking away from him, which makes him think it is okay to grab my arm or block me in)... I hate all of that.
but really a big pet peeve for me is both my ex and my bf don't take responsibility for their actions, and it drives me nuts... like saying 'there was nothing else I could do' makes it okay to do it. You know it is wrong so just don't do it. I don't blame you for me walking away from you so don't blame me for grabbing my arm or whatever, I walk away because I don't like it... OMG.
also, the toilet seat, I have 2 teenage sons and a bf and none of them leave the seat up, but when any of them are the last in the bathroom the seat is magically up, and I have dipped my butt in the cold toilet water a few times (I have since learned to look before I sit)...
and another pet peeve of mine is everyone telling me what eachother is doing and expecting me to side with them... I don't care to be on sides I want you to talk to eachother and come to me when it is about me!!!!
and the whole gas thing, I tried to be proper about it and not do it in front of anyone, but really I grew up with a mother that nicknamed the noise, and it was always a point of laughter in my child hood and it was really hard to overcome that, and I do believe I come from a gassy family, and who can hold it for too long without painful cramps, my pet peeve about that is, when men think that they can let loose but women can't, if you are going to do it in front of me, I will return the favour and probably laugh too.
