See...haha, great minds think alike.
I do the same thing mami..I can out-wait him, because he smokes after meals. So he'll sit and wait for me to do it and I just wait until he has to smoke....so he finally gets up and I'm like "Here honey please take this since you're taking yours" LOL
Judy I figured out that trick. I feed him but as soon as he gets up to throw his dish out because he realized I won't...I throw my plate on top of his and say "thank you"....lol. Works every time.
when my fiance assumes and expects me to make the dinner, set the table, serve as waiteress even if I am sitting down eating and clean the table and dishes.....Oh, I forget it's suppose to be a woman's role! How about helping clear the friken table once in a while AND lays like a couch potato watching his sports and has the nerve to tell to me give him the remote, which is closer to him.....my response, "get it yourself" :)
ahhh the toilet seat up. while i was pregnant i was staying with my mom (dh was out of state) and her husband NEVER put the d*mn seat down. 3 am i had to pee like no other. i sit down and plop goes my rear end. i started to scream..mom though i'd gone into labor. lol. he didn't learn and still left the toilet seat up....i did learn. i even banned him from using the upstairs potty. he had to use the downstairs one. (i wasn't allowed to walk up and down stairs so i claimed the upstairs bathroom as the womens only bathroom for 8 months. lol)
When I was 8 months pregnant, my husband left the seat up------ in the middle of the night when I had to use the bathroom and almost went all the way in . . . well, lets just say my blood curdling yells left a lasting impression. Husband does NOT do this anymore . . . lol.
Man, I never realized I had so many pet peeves but I agree with most everything here!!
Here is another----- when husband is out late due to a work meeting, flight getting in late . . . happy hour with his buddies------- and he comes in just as I am putting the kids to bed and gets them all riled up and they are up for another hour. Then I still have to put them to bed. And then the next day he leaves for work and I am left with two tired grumpy kids!
