Okay, close your eyes and picture a happy, content moment with someone you love.  Now tell US where you are at that moment . . .

Just wondering where everyone's happy place is with their significant other or where they think it would be.  I have a couple that I'll post

Sausalito - across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco - one (only one!!) of our very romantic rondevouz (sp?) early in our relationship.  It has FOREVER (28 years) remained one of our favorite places to go and it's close enough that we visit often - it never fails to stir romance!!  Also, Monterey and Carmel - we consumated our relationship there after a 7 year platonic friendship and that is so special that we go there EVERY year for another honeymoon!!  (sorry I took so long but romance is BIG for us!!)

I would say that's my life in Paris with my eyes open or closed as I think Paris is heaven on earth.  I have visited and lived in different countries in the world and there is NOTHING like Paris.  

Visiting Paris should be on everyone's "bucket list."

In a garden -- beautiful flowers and trees everywhere. He set up a picnic table for me, it was my birthday. We had our own little section and we were laying down on the grass side by side just laughing and talking about any and every thing. Nice memory, sometimes bitter/sweet  :)

We took a cruise with the whole family once.  Would love to just have the 2 of us on a cruise one day.... so beautiful.

I don't know if it's weird but my happy place is actually when him and I first met.  I just can remember how comfortable it felt and how it felt like him and I had known eachother for so long already.  It makes me smile because it was so exciting and there was such hope for the future.  Like, maybe this is the one.  Of course our 9 years is filled with many memories and moments that make me happy but for some reason I always come back to that first moment in my mind.

Yes,I agree specialmom,it has to be the beach at night,sky is full of stars,some shooting stars,the ocean is roaring and the pure sea breeze ruffles our hair.My lady is holding me and we are kissing softly.For this moment is so special and heavenly.We are lost in a dream.Not a care in the world.Bliss.

Sitting on the sofa watching TV together and laughing at what was onscreen, while our little bundle of joy was in the other room, occupied with something of his own, not with us demanding a juice box or wanting us to look at a toy truck.  Happened a couple of nights ago and it was really nice to remember who we are as a couple.

I hear crashing waves and can smell the ocean.  It is evening and the sky is clear.  My husband and I are sitting at a table on the beach after enjoying a nice dinner together.  We are sipping a glass of wine and laughing at something the other said.  As I look into his eyes, I know that he'd not want to be anywhere else at that time than right there with me.

THAT is a happy picture and one that I recreate in my mind from a vacation we took before our bundles of joy came along (and made vacation alone non existent. :>) )
