Can i get reinfected with chlamydia?

i got diagnosed with chlamydia last thursday, the health advisor gave me a single dose of zithromax. then on the saturday me and my partner had protected sex but the condom split, he's been tested for chlamydia but we haven't got the results back yet, if he tests positive could i of been reinfected with chlamydia?

Yes.  This is the reason they tell you not to have sex at all for at least 7 days.  Condoms can break, then you run the risk of reinfection.  You should wait until at least a week after he takes his meds (if he is positive) before having sex again.

You definately can re-infect yourself with Chlamydia. I would wait for the results to have sex. I would also wait a week or 2 to have sex again.. thursday to satuday is too soon.

if tests are positive again, i suggest you go back ask the health advisor the time frame to have sex again. i am sure yuo got to give the antibiotic time to work.
