Chronic Yeast infection Need help now!

Hello, I am 21 years old and have a chronic yeast infection since I was 17.
It all started after me and my girlfriend at the time gave me fellatio, without a condom. I was the first boy she ever was with and she was the first girl I was with. I received it and a few weeks later this started.

My skin underneath my foreskin(I'm not circumsized) and that's one thing that bothers me. I don't want to be circumsized. I have read into it and new studies show you lose feeling plus I don't want it to happen to be honest. Underneath my foreskin is red and it's an itchy burning type of feeling, it's not completely red. A big red patch and a few other red spots. The head of my penis also has a red spot but that doesnt itch or burn or anything. There is no raised skin, no warts, no discharge, and there never has been either. No open sores, no signs of ANY STD's in any way. Just Red skin that is a bit itchy and sore and looks like a yeast infection from pictures I've seen. I also get testicle pain and the skin on my sack is red and my doctor said it is the yeast/skin problem I have.

My doctor said it probably is a yeast infection or skin problem that needs to be adressed by a specialist. And that I might have more yeast in my body than I should.

My ex had no STD's she was checked for them. Her mom made a doctor test her for them. She came up clean, no STD's, turned out her mom fussed way to much and she had a simple UTI.

Back then I said to a doctor at the clinic I thought I had an STD and my doctor told me I could not get one unless I got one from someone. I was like oh, I cant get them just from getting fellatio from my gf even if she's clean and I didnt wear a condom? And he said no, and laughed saying you dont have anything to worry about, you came back negative for all of them and it isnt herpes or HPV don't worry.

Another doctor told me I could get the tests done if I wanted to and I did. I got tested for every STD you can get tested for. Clean on any. No STD's for me.

No doctor ever tested me for yeast. They just looked and said it was Yeast. It has never gone away though. I told my doctor everything. How I go to bed and wake up with semen everywhere and my doctor says I have wet dreams and or play with myself in my sleep and said even if I applied the cream he game me back then (which was Clotrimizole I believe) that it wouldnt go away if in my sleep im jerking/having wet dreams.

I have been on that, over the counter vagisil, monastat, canesten. Nothing gets rid of it.
I seen a new doctor this year and he said since I have no STD's and the problem wont go away that it is either a yeast infection that became as he called it a super yeast due to all the creams ive been using, or some other skin problem.

I tried seeing a dermatologist and urologist before but i coudlnt get a referral until THIS year! I went to the urologist the day I had my appointment. I went in and he told me something came up and I had to be rescheduled, and I was told to wait 6-11 months. My referral to the dermatologist apointment was set and I was told i have to wait 12-14 months.

I've had this problem since I was 17 years old, I haven't had a relationship since then, my girlfriend and I that I had at the time it started left me to go to university across the country. She's had a few boyfriends and has no problems with yeast infections, no std's, no problems at all.

I am not diabetic, I might have b12 and a thyroid problem due to signs of them and im waiting to get blood work. I don't know what this is, and what really upsets me is this has ruined my life. I cant go outside without taking cream with me because it helps a tiny bit to relieve the itchy burning feeling. Im irritable and so depressed over it. I live in a town of less than 7000 the closest big hospital in 15 minutes away and the specialists are there. There's one Urologist, and two dermatologist.

I have to wait all this time to go see them again and then after seeing them once and gettign tests done I will get another appointment and wait 1-3 months I was told. I don't think this is fair at all.

Is there any thing I can do to get this done quicker and does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?
It's destroying my life and Im at the point where Im ready to snap.

Sorry for the length, if you need any more info ask and sorry if it's in the wrong section.

I don't need to eat any probiotics since I dont have a yeast infection. I have a mild allergy to yogurt as well as dairy products. I got my results back and I don't have one. I don't have any STD's either.
I have to wait another 11-13 months to see a dermatologist.

I'm wondering what this could be, I looked it up and it seems to be either friction from the fact that when I sleep I have wet dreams and masturbate, doctor told me you cant do anything about it either.

Or it's balanitis, or psoriasis or something else.
My doctor thinks it's Eczema under my foreskin and he has looked at my penis and said it seems to be Eczema or dermatitis and said that a dermatologist will help me when I see one.
Guess I will have to wait.

culturelle is the product that has lots of research behind it and easy to find in stores or online if you are in the US.  it'll help keep your bowels healthy - keep them healthy and the rest of the body follows :)

continue to follow up on this with your dermatologist.

I'm not sure what types of probiotic to eat. I could pick some up if I know what to look for.
What types of yogurt etc?

I agree with what Grace was saying.

As you've already tried so many creams, pills etc. from the docs without any luck it is definitely worth trying changes in your diet.  I don't think your doctor should be so sceptical about it.

By taking this approach you would be treating the cause of the problem rather than making the effects of the problem disappear (and possibly only temporarily if the cause is actually something that can, only, be changed by a change to your diet/lifestyle).

Am not an expert just what I believe!   Good luck

Thank you for your reply!

I've had the one day cure diflucan he gave me two tablets and it did not work.

I don't use any soaps but dove and Ivory. I will start sleeping bottomless. I drink black coffee 1-3 times a day, an extra large.  I'm not overweight and I walk as much as possible.

Well I have a mild allergy to dairy type of products. If I drink milkd or have dairy products more than 3 times a week I get ear infections etc.

My doctor told me I can try all kinds of stuff like this but he thinks it wont help at all or much and I'll need to see a dermatologist. I'm waiting on a call from a doctor who's the one who gave me my referrals, he's seeing if he can push me ahead or speak to the dermatologist since he said I need to see one soon. Because it's becoming to big of a problem.

your regular doctor can order you oral diflucan to take once a week for 6 weeks to see if you can clear this up.

retract your foreskin daily and clean under it with a mild soap. be sure to dry it properly too. any time you can go bottomless ( for instance when you sleep ) is good. it allows cool, drying hair to get to your genitals so fungal overgrowth is less of an issue.  don't use scented "manly" soaps on the genital area either - just plain dove soap or dial soap.  also take a look at your diet and eliminate as many simple carbs as you can - no gatorade, donuts, chips etc. also look into a good probiotic either in yogurt 2-3x/day or culturelle twice a day for a month and then go down to once a day.

getting rid of chronic fungal infections can be difficult. you and your regular provider can deal with this until you can be seen by a dermatologist.
