"Protected" Condom Sex with Professional Sex Worker

Dear Doc,

A couple of days ago I visited a professional sex worker. I've noticed that she had big marks of rape os somekind of abuse. She put me a condom, cleaned my body with wet wipes and started doing me oral sex. After a few minutes she inserted my penis into her vagina and very gently started to move up and down...it took me a minute before I pushed her away telling her that I want oral sex only. She continued with oral sex... After the intecourse I asked for a wet whipe and pulled down the condom, not touching it. Than I went to the bathroom and washed my penis with soap - I used a lot of soap and water, but didn't take a shawer. I didn't touch her vagina nor mouth, but massaged her breasts. I've been reading articles and formums for STDs since than and got VERY CONFUSED. I guess some of her vaginal fluids got in touch with my body or some saliva got in touch with my body.

Please tell me what are the chances I got STDs from the described stupid mistake I made?

I'm SCARED TO DEATH about my family as I have a life and we've been trying to have a baby.

...Yesterday was the 7th day after my exposure. Could this bump be a sign of syphilis or another STD? Its small, about 3mm and I have no pain. Normally, I have pretty clean skin and don't have bumps.

Hi My Friends,

Yesterday, I've noticed a bump /some unusual formation on my head close to my hair/. I don't know how to name it in English. Can it be Syphillis chancre?? Does this chancre always apper at the site of entry of syphilis or it can be evertywhare, including at my face? Could it be another STS, too?

Hi My Friends,

I took only one dose of those medications. Do you think that's enough for curring gonorea, chancroid or chlamydia, I I had ether? Do I need to take more doses?

I guess now I have to worry about syphillis, HPV and Herpes. It has been over a week, so I guess Herpes is out of question. Regarding HPV, both me and my wife have it from the past. Can we reinfect with this virues? For syphillis, perhaps I should monitor for any skin disorders.

Realistically, please let me know what deseases are likely to catch from protected oral and vaginal sex (for less than a minute). If I don't have simpthoms for 2 weeks, can I feel safe for me and my wife?

Oh good clarification.  Thanks.

You really shouldn't have sex while being treated for an std.  I meant that your question about gentle protected sex so far with your wife means she probably hasn't been infected.

It is best to wait 7 days to have sex.

yep i agree, just don't have unprotected sex with her for 7 days and if possible don't have sex at all while you are taking the medication in case you have a condom break for whatever reason, not really worth the risk is it?

Those meds should cure gonorrhea and chlamydia.

I doubt you had either to start with, but if you did, that will take care of it.  Also, protected sex with your wife is fine, and the meds take 7 days to fully work.
