High Blood Presure When Falling Asleep

Don't know if this is the right topic.
I have a problems that when I start to fall asleep, I get real hot and my blood pressure shoots up and wakes me up within second having falling asleep. It doies this two are three time until my body just gives out and I fall asleep.
The BP will usually go from 125/85 to 145-150/ 85-90 within a few seconds. I am presently see a cardio doctor for heart evaluation before a liver cyst surgery. If anyone knows or thinks they know whats going on.Please help..

I see you posted this several years ago - have you had any luck figuring out the cause?  I am having the same issue.
