Hi avadakedavra, how are you doing? Thanks for your reply and updates. Yes, in severe case of sleep apnea the oxygen carried to the brain cells is decreased but due to the reflex breathing it is balanced usually. Stress could cause disturbance in digestion and bowel movements. Relax and follow a healthy sleep habit and a balanced diet with plenty of liquids. I would suggest you to consult a neurologist for evaluation. Take care and keep updating.
Can sleep apnea cause damage to brain cells? Yes, it can in cases of severe oxygen deprivation, but for most, restoring good sleep is enough to restore brain better brain function. Like a computer functions more efficiently when it is routinely defragged and rebooted, sleep serves that purpose for the brain. Otherwise it gets progressively bogged down.
Poor sleep stresses all your body systems and every person is affected differently.
also if my head vibration(rapidly) may be some kind of seizure (like epilepsy?)??
i also want to mention that this problem happens to me if i for example sleep for couple of hours then sleep again after few hours
hii
thanks very much for both of you for ur replies
here is my last question
these symptoms was happening for 5 years till now and i want to know if sleep apnea or breath stop during sleep cause damage to brain cells?
and can my problems cause problems in digestive system? or the colon?
Hi avadakedavra, hope you are doing better? Thanks for your reply. Your weight seems ok, but need to check for BMI. Yes, you are under stress probably due to the long-standing sleep disturbance and altered daily activities. Sleep study would probably let you know the cause. Check your blood pressure and blood sugar levels? It is better to follow few healthy sleep tips given in last post and consult a neurologist and sleep specialist for evaluation. Alprazolam at bedtime is helpful. Take care and keep updating.
By layperson's input, I was saying I am not a medical professional.
You may have more than one thing going on, but you can start addressing them piece by piece. Seeing a neurologist and/or a sleep doctor would cover enough of your concerns to be an excellent place to start. Could your symptoms be psychological? Could be, but a good neurologist could tell if your symptoms fit any patterns of illness or not.
My personal (and again not professional) impression is that you have a physical basis to your symptoms and the not knowing is affecting you mentally. Do yourself a favor and go to the doctor. Usually wondering is worse than knowing. Please let us know what the neurologist says and what a sleep study shows.
i also have problems with my stomach like bad digestion
can it be a psychological problem?
what is (a layperson's input)?
i mean open the eye by (enter eye ) sorry for english mistakes
i am 19 old ?iam 57 k.g and dont drink or smoke
is this stress only? or it is serious? can it be any other problem except apnea?
these problems happening to me for 5 years till now
Hi avadakedavra, how are you? How old are you? I feel you are under tremendous stress due to day-to-day activities and sleeplessness. You need to think seriously about getting a sleep study done and overcome the stress at a stress management center. You might be having sleep apnea and sleep paralysis where in you stop breathing a number of times in sleep, sometimes you might not be aware of it. Avoid smoking, alcohol, excessive tea/coffee and a bulky spicy meal at nighttime. It is good to go to sleep as early as possible. Yoga and meditation can be helpful. Before you go on any medication, it is better to get evaluated by sleep specialist and neurologist. Take care.
It may be that you have not had replies because of not being sure if your post was legit. The net is full of people who post to illness forums to draw people into a discussion of a sexual nature. I have to admit, I hesitated also. Not to mention, that weight of 57 is hard to understand, and "entering one eye". Maybe you could clarify? Here's my take on the parts of your situation I understand (a layperson's input).
Inability to concentrate is common in those with sleep disorders. So is insomnia, some feel it is our body's instinct to avoid the misery sleep could bring.
Any activity that increases circulation can cause problems if a person's circulation in their head is compromised in any way. Any activity that puts the neck in a chin jutted forward position can cause neurological symptoms in a person with bad disks in their neck.
You've got a lot of stuff you're describing there and seems most happens when you're asleep. Have you been evaluated by a neurologist, or even a sleep neurologist? Your answers will quite probably need to be sorted out by a professional.
i also have insomnia ( i dont sleep may be for 2 days in sequence)
is this apnea??
