just wanted to say

it has now been over eight weeks since I stopped smoking and still going in right direction; I am pretty darn proud of myself; still using nicotine gum but starting to switch over to 2mg gum as 4mg is too strong for me.

Over to 2mg lozenges. Still with you! Can you tell the benefits like extra lung capacity?

Yes, great going!  Congrats on 8wks!  You Should be proud of yourself...this is a tough thing to do.  I second Kathy Jo's concern about the gum, but as long as you have a plan in place, you'll be fine.

Keep us posted :)

good for you! I'm especially happy to hear that you have switched to the lower dose of gum. Seems many have a problem giving it up so keep up the good work and keep the progress going!
