Yep, I used both a fertility monitor and the ovulation stick and both showed positive for two days. One cycle I went to see the REI doctor on second positive day and I had already ovulated. The following month I saw REI on first positive day and it was clear I had not ovulated.

Does this mean we should BD on the day of the first positive on OPK?
I too tested positive twice. I tested on Monday got a Positive, tested yesterday and tested positive. So I guess we can ovulate 2 days. I am going to test again at lunch time just to see...hehehe
OPK's only predict ovulation. The only way to know for sure if you O'd is by BBT's (if you get a spike). I have had several days of positive OPK's but I have a pretty bad hormone imbalance! :) But what I did read (further to what Risa said), was that the FIRST positive OPK is the one that matters. SSBD!
Thanks guys, I'll do another one today and see what shows too.
I first tested positive monday and then tuesday, weds I decided to test again just to see and there was a faint second line. I don't know what I should do I guess I need some advice on how I should take BBT's or am I missing something else.LOL.
A fertility expert told me NOT to check for ovulation spike twice because it will only confuse me. He said that after the first positive OPK, the spike can fluctuate. he said I should always go by the first. You see, I had a positive spike on one day, and then a negative one on the next. Because of this I almost missed an opportunity to have conception sex because I thought my ovulation was over. The following day my cervix was high soft and open. I hadn't finished like I thought. PS: I usually have "viable sex" whenever I can, but as the months go by it's a little harder to say, "Come on honey, it's time!" We should start a forum on this issue.
That is good advice, although I apparently only had an LH surge for a VERY brief time, and was glad I tested twice a day. If I had only taken the OPK at 7:00 p.m. Friday, and then again 24 hrs later at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, It's likely I would have missed my surge!
its a pain that the tracker places ovulation the day after the last positive if you record 2 positives - I'll make sure I just record the first one from now on. As I think I am a day more post ovulation than my tracker shows.
I guess we should test many times, but if the OPK is negative after the first surge to add a few dances for good measure!
A few extra dances for good measure can't hurt!! =) ~ I just hope I caught mine in time...Not sure if I danced too late!!
