Braxton Hicks??

Hi, so I am 18 weeks and 1 day today. :) I have been cramping a lot lately! My cousin is a nurse and also has 3 kids. So I talked to her about this first. Ok, my back has been KILLING me! Like, it's hard for me to get up. Doesn't help that I am pretty big already. And my cramps will come (in my lower abdomen, like around where I would get menstrual cramps.), and last for about 2 minutes, then go away and I will have another one a few minutes later!! She started having B-H at 16 weeks with her 2nd baby, so it's possible to get them this early. But can someone with experience about them tell me if this is what the cramping is?? :) Thanks!!

Sorry to be negative. But this is the same thing I had two weeks ago when I was 18wks and you need to get your butt into L&D. I thought the same thing that they were just braxton hicks (i have two children already) so i just let it go the next day it went to my back and by the time I got to the hospital i was already dilated and there was nothing they could do it  stop it. My daughter was born at 18wks and lived for 1h 36mins. I don't want you to get all freaked out but it could be nothing or it could be preterm labour. If i were you (and I could do it all over again) I would rather be safe then sorry. You should never have more then 4 braxton hicks in a hour and if i understand what you said is that you are getting them every few mins. It could be really contractions but you could also be dehydrated and just need to get fluid in you system. Please go get checked now. And keep me updated. Good luck
