levothroxine

I took levothroxine  around 9 this morning and I am switching the time I take it to night can i take it tonight? or should I wait until tomorrow night?

Agree with AJ - you shouldn't eat/drink anything, other than water, within 3-4 hours of taking med.  If you do, you might create a need for higher dosage, due to less absorption of the med.

I knew the eating was important so I do not eat anything after 6pm and I take my meds at 10pm.

Recommended not to eat/drink anything few hrs prior to synthroid night time dose, commonly 4 hrs for best absorption :)

Can you have a glass of wine about an hour before taking synthroid? I changed the time I take mine to evening before bed and I feel musch better. Just curoius about the wine?

Either way you might feel some side effects from either having a but extra in your system or not enough. I was always told not to ever "double up". So it might be better for you to wait. Make sure you take it as presribed and on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. If you are a late snacker, then maybe evenings might not be a good idea. For this reason, I take it as soon as I wake up, and wont eat till an hour later.
