I am not too well versed in this area, but sounds good you are on meds which should help bring the # more in line.  Others who have some answers may jump on in...

Hi I've send you a message but will post another answer here for other thyroid pregnant mommies.  Im also 18 weeks and a Hashimoto's patient.  Your levels will have to be between TSH 1-2 some Dr's even believe below 1.  Especially during the first few weeks.

Your medication should be adjusted during the pregnancy.  Your baby's own thyroid gland starts working at about 15 weeks of pregnancy but your levels should be checked constantly during pregnancy.   I saw a post on the Dr's forum of a lady also worried about High Thyroid levels - and the Dr' s answer was that above TSH10 or TSH 15 is a major concern for worry then only of mental development in baby.

Maybe have a look on the Dr's forum - it was either under Endocrinologist or Obstetrician.

Hope you get things sorted soon and hope all goes well forward.

Know your stress - this is my first pregnancy with Hashimoto's and even though i have 2 other kids its not the same - its like going through my first pregnancy all over again.

Good luck
