Please shed light on Ultasound report

Hello,
what a great site!! My ultasound of the thyroid revealed the following:
right lobe measures 7.1
left lobe measure 4.9.
thickness is 4.6mm.
echotexture of gland is normal. right lobe near junction with isthmus is a simple unilocular, 2.6 cm cyst, relating to the palpable abnormality. laterally within right lobe is a complex 1.3cm mass, with eccentric spaces. there is little intranodular flow (is that good?). no associated calcification. left lobe 6mm cyst and a 8mm complex nodule. why do they use mass, cyst, nodule interchangeably? recommendation is sonographic surveillance. why is a biopsy not recommended? anything alarming here? i have appt with endo next week. blood work is normal. thank you!!

The echotexture of gland is normal means there is  no inflammation
Simple [fluid filled blister] unilocular [means one cyst, not two cysts fused together], 2.6 cm cyst, is most likely benign, can be aspirated, and if refills can be PEI ablated

complex 1.3cm mass is cyst with siolid components, possibly small nodule undergoes cystic degeneration, little intranodular flow means it is most likely benign, however the biopsy for it is recommended, although due to the complex nature of the nodule it is hard to get adequate sample from solid area.
Small cyst and small nodule in L lobe can be monitored until they reach the size of 1 cm. [for biopsy]
