Baggy eyes, constant fatigue

Hi all
I have had puffy, baggy eyes and constant chronic fatigue for many years now, I have a fairly healthy
Diet. It's driving me insane, I'm 53 and look and feel a lot older, l always look like I need a good sleep.
I go to bed and wake up exhausted, can anyone help please?  I'm so fed up!

Have you had any thyroid testing done?  Both, puffy eyes and chronic fatigue are major symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Talk to your doctor and ask for Free T3, Free T4 and TSH.  Don't settle for just TSH, which is the only test most doctors will want to perform to test thyroid function.  TSH is a pituitary hormone, not a thyroid hormone.  Free T3 and Free T4 are the actual thyroid hormones.

Or you can order them online, yourself for about $85, get the blood drawn at a local LabCorp, post the results here and we can help you interpret them.  If your results indicate hypothyroidism, you can then go to your doctor for treatment.  Sometimes, that's faster and less hassle than getting your doctor to test more than TSH.
