TSH LEVELS 3.59 But anxious Is this normal?

Ok, so my levels came back in 3.59 but I am suffering from anxiety...? this normal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now- she has been so willing to prescribe me meds from the start- keeps on saying "oh, thats anxiety, oh thats, deppresion, ohh that OCD, and ohh its thyroid"


So--- what is it? I am so MAD at her !

Im waiting on blood test to return, thing is it takes so long over here.(10-2weeks)...Im hoping he will up the dose, but who knows he might be one of those docs. that if its in range Im A OK! Which Im not! Il be getting the results some day next week!

Have you asked your Doctor if you can increase your T4 med?
My dose changes now are very very small but my Doc is changing the dosage fortnightly now.
I was on 50mcg and it wasnt enough so went to 62.5mcg 3 days a week and 50mcg 4 days a week.
Two weeks later I am now on 62.5 4 days a week and 50mcg 3 days a week.
End of next week I will most probably go to 62.5mcg 5 days a week and 50mcg 2 days a week.
Hypo is a horrible feeling but believe me, not as bad as HYPER...been there, done that.
See your Doctor about an increase if you feel that bad with the anxiety.

I swear Im in the same boat as you, don't know what to do. I feel as though Im fighting a loosing battle!.. It wasn't until I had answered the question I realised it was you.... So stress with everything and today Im just in a horrible mood...Want to die almost! hypothyroidism makes anxiety worse but I really don't know how to get rid of it! It was the whole anxous feeling that caused me to have the thoughts and stuff noe its like a visous circle!

You know- I am an anxious person to begin with. I was initially put on thyroid meds at 25 (genetic) this was great. I was later bumped to 50- stopped taking it and later continued after a month.

It was when it began, I felt a nervous wreck!
anxious- and from that episode while taking the 50 I just felt scared to get the same feeling again- so anxiety began to spark in... which lands me to today!
So I dont know what to make of it... I really dont... HELP>

I get severe anxiety if my TSH is near the 3.00 mark.
My last test showed my TSH at 2.69 so increase in meds for me!
But because of going hyper a few times, I have been taking baby steps with my meds.
Although my FT3 & FT4 are fine.
Anxiety can come at both ends of the scale..either Hypo or Hyper.

Did you have anxiety before the thyroid??? I got bad anxiety, woke up one morning and it just hit me like a sack of spuds got my bloods done anf my TSH was 6.5!Your TSH is still high so I would say its just normal! Apparently emotional/mental symptoms are the last to go! Maybe get your antibodies tested to!
