Burning sensations?

Does anyone with hypothyroidism have this symptom: there is a burning sensation in the face (gets worse after eating something) and some other parts of the body too?

I had lots of burning skin issues after thyroidectomy and I was given the same old Endo answer it's not thyroid hormone related it's in your head....no it was across my face, arms , chest and feet I tell them....Im not sure but I'm pretty sure mine was brought on by synthyroid and inflammation from psoriatic arthritis flare that I didn't know I had.

I have noticed burning in my eyes, usually associated with T3 wear off.  I do notice it other times, too.

Yes, I have that exact same problem.  I know this post is really old but I'm wondering what you have found out since.

It's not any certain type of food but I do best with meat, salad veggies and nuts for no burning sensation.  I'm waiting on a call from my endo's office, hopefully tomorrow.

Hi I am also having similar symptoms. Sometimes I feel too sleepy after eating to. I know generally people do feel sleepy after eating but this feels different. I tend to do better on nuts meat yogurt. Have observed tyat eating  rice  can worsen the symptoms. Did you get some more insights or solution into this peculiar symptom?
Hello.  Mine had/has nothing to do with thyroid but is actually gut related.  Food allergies/sensitivities and leaky gut.  And yes, fatigue can be caused by food allergies, too.  Find a good functional medicine doctor and I have a feeling that you'll find some answers.  Best wishes!!
