CT with Iodine Contrast and affect on thyroid

I am having a CT of chest, abdomen and pelvis with contrast tomorrow. I have hashimoto's and am wondering how this may affect my thyroid. I am drinking barium and getting injection of iodine. My thyroid is probably 3/4 of the way burned out and I don't have hyper episodes anymore.

Anyone had this done??  What were your affects from it??

Thanks everyone. I had it done this morning. I am now fighting quite a fever, even with taking tylenol it is still hanging at 99.6 range. Normal for me is 97 range.
Maybe coincidence, not sure. Man I hope this didn't aggrivate my kidneys as I have a history with kidney infections. All my labs were good before they did the test.
Thank God no reactions! :)

Hi Laura,  I don't know the answer but wanted to wish you luck.  When they give you the dye you feel like you have to use the bathroom .. not kidding .. but it quickly passes and then the test will be over soon.  Good luck and keep us posted!
