Yes. You should go back to the doctor and get another test done to see where your TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh is now. You can have anxiety if you are hypo or hyper. Your doctor can Rx anti-anxiety meds for you until you decide what to do about your thyroid. Your latest .4 Tsh indicates mild hyperthyroid and it could be getting worse.
Yes, I was just retested today for TSH bcz of anxiety ... usually my TSH is under 1.0 when I feel this way .. but I'm getting older (will be 49) and wonder if "changes" may be starting so the test will let me know what is going on here ... feels like PMS anxiety.
Yes, anxiety can surely be a symptom. It seems like it would be a hyper symptom, but can also occur in the hypo state.
