Continued hypothyroid symptoms

After taking Armour thyroid for over 20 years for a thyroid nodule, I was changed to Synthroid because my TSH was too low. Now I have extreme fatigue, intolerance to cold, pain in my ear, a full feeling in my throat on the side of the thyroid nodule, a feeling of not getting a full breath, weight gain of over 30 pounds in the 2 years I've been on the synthroid.  I used to do one hour of exercise at the gym 3 times a week and now can hardly do 30 minutes.  My muscles feel extremely weak like I have been exercising hard.  Now I've developed terrible tinnitus in both ears.  I  also have fibromyalgia so there's the kicker but didn't have to take any pain medicine when I was on thyroid.  I'm a RN, if I had a patient with these symptoms I'd try to help her discuss these with her doctor.  What do I  do? The nodule has been biopsied and is benign. I'm 62 and am still working part-time but have had to limit that  due to my symptoms.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What inspired the switch?

It sounds like you did much better on your meds boefore the switch. I would think since you had success on Armour - going back would be best.
