Anyone ever had their meds start weakening as they neared their expiration date? I had bottle of Armour that the pharmacist said were good until 4/11 but "don't worry a bit, because even though they are considered "expired", they are good for a year after that."
I continued to have challenges along the way as April approached, never putting two and two together that it may in fact be the pills. I had a serious challenges with a hard T3 crash occuring regularly that I just couldn't seem to counter balance, even when I split my dose throughout the day, tried a sublingual method, etc. It always seemed like the pills just weren't doing their job even though the thought never occured to me that it may be the pills themselves. Finally, I decided to run it by my pharmacist again and he reaffirmed that they were good for another year (he is a super guy, so he was not trying to be difficult or anything). He did, however, order me a brand new bottle of them directly from the manufacturer. Ok, can you say night and day? It is amazing how much better I feel less than a week of being on the new ones.
Has anyone ever had this happen? Just FYI for others to be aware of this in case they run into a similar situation; watch your expiration date and know that they in fact may NOT be good for another year, or perhaps not even another day.
