Does anyone have hoarseness and feeling tightness in the throat ?

I just found out that I have a multi nodular goiter . I had a biopsy, which showed no abnormal cells. My doctor says that my levels are normal and if he removed part of my thyroid I would have to take meds for the rest of my life. He basically blew me off, he said that he thinks I have GERD and told me to take prilosec , that this is causing my hoarseness. My thyroid is larger on my right side and visible ,I feel it pushing on my throat, I cannot swallow pills, which I have never had a problem with before, my throat stays so dry, when I wake up in the mornings I cannot hardly talk. I went to my primary physician today and he is scheduling me with an ENT doctor. I know it is my thyroid causing my problems , does anyone have any suggestions.

Please post the reference ranges shown on the lab report for those results.

Assuming that you had an ultrasound test that showed the nodules, please post what was reported.

Do you have any symptoms besides the ones mentioned above?
