Energy??

In july my dr put me on low dose of cytomel as some of u know...well by mid aug my energy was great....but at the same time i had been on pain pills since may 24 due to sdinus surgery and then a root canel..i had a history of bad dierehha...it totally stopped and i even became constipated.....i stopped the vicidin sept 2,dierehha hit the very next day>> im wondeing if it stopped it and the energy was more from vividin>than the cytomel?Also ran into a old friend who recently found out her thyroid was low and started her on 100 mcg of synthyroid,isnt that a high dose to be started on,im not sure if its generic or not.I see my dr in 2 days.I sure hope i didnt get addicted to vividin..i took like 2 a day for 3 months..Thanks carol

Energy is down again.Dierehha is back full force.I had it for years,i guess the vividin stopped ii,but i sure dont want to be on a med thats addicting like that,im already addicted to xanax.My sex drive has died again to..see dr tommorow/I dont know whats going on.

I doubt that the vicodin caused the high energy, but vicodin does tend to constipate, so that would explain why your diarrhea went away on it.  What's your energy level like?

Yes, 100 mcg of synthroid or any thyroid medication is a large starting dose.  I hope your friend doesn't have issues starting that high.
