No one knows whats wrong with me

4 years ago I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was on Armour thyroid and felt great. About 4 months ago I had to go off the med because I leveled out. I felt ok for a month and then started losing weight and was VERY close to hyperthyroid TSH .48 (.38 - 5.6) My calcium and albumin were slightly increased. My PTH was a 9 ( 14 - 74) but everyone said I was normal. Since then (dec 1, 2007) my calcium has gone back to normal and my TSH went to 1.1 but T4 was a high normal. Now I am gaining weight like crazy but all levels are normal.
Anyway, off and on my back has hurt me and for a while everyone told me it was muscular but every time I have a urine test there are trace amounts of blood. NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING!!!  I still have hyper symptoms and the worse 2 are hard to breath and throat tightness. My back is KILLING me and I know its my kidney's. I cant take any pain killers, NSAID's because it makes my kidney's hurt even more. Do you think this is all related? Also, my PTH is low so why are the Drs telling me its normal? Any help would be great. Thank you

I'm still wondering if I'm having problems with my thyroid if it can cause problems with the kidney's? Adrenal Glands? I dont know much about the connections between these two but it seems to me that they would go togther.

I'm sorry maybe I didnt explain myself enough. I was leveled out around 2.0 for the past 4 years and felt great. Then went off meds about 4 months ago because I was feeling horrible with hyper symtoms and I was feeling awful. My Endo suggested I go off my armour and see how I feel. I was good for a while until my TSH went even lower to .48 and I couldnt breath, was shaking, pulse of 130 resting, sweating, extreme tightness in throat... I felt horrible. Now that its going back up I can breath and most of the hyper symptoms have gone but some are still here. I still have the tightness in my throat and sometimes have a hard time breathing. So even though I'm at 1.1 I'm still having some hyper symptoms but I'm gaining weight. This is still one of the lowest numbers I've ever had. Too low for me.
As far as finding a Dr that will listen, you can ask anyone that lives in my area... NONE of them listen. I have started seeking Dr's out of my area. The ones around here just dont care.

I might be in a different land - but you said you are not on any thyroid meds right? You would gain weight at 1.1 from .48 because your metobolism had slowed.

Personally I think you are one that "feels" better physically at a sub clinical hyper thyroid state When you were .48 you do not express any aches when you were there at those numbers only weight loss. Now at 1.1 which is usually ideal for most thyroid patients you seems to be having trouble.

I would go back to the physician and explain that you felt much better at .48 and see if you can be tweeked to maybe an in between range of .48 and 1.1. That may be difficult to find a doctor that will actually do this since 1.1 is ideal on a reference range for patients. I'd say keep trying to seek a doctor that will listen to you instead of just looking at ranges.

Good Luck
