On Nov. 18, 2008 I had a TT for Graves Disease with cold nodule that incidentally turned out to be cancerous but small and completely contained within the margins of the thyroid. I have since become increasingly tired and things as minor as washing my hair make the muscles in my arms tired. I also have lovely new dark circles under my eyes despite getting more sleep than ever, 8-10 hours/night. I just had my levels checked yesterday and my Dr. says all of my levels are "perfect", although she didn't say what exactly they were, I think the TSH was about 1.75 but that is all she told me. Is this something that my body just needs to get used to, not having a thyroid, or is it possible that although the levels look "normal", I might need higher doses of Synthroid. I am all for being patient, I am just trying to set some expectations for what the future holds.
Thank you in advance for any helpful advice.
