correct age of menupause

my mother in law is 54 years old  she still has periods some times regular sometimes irregular she has diabetic and thyroid also
she takes Eltroxin 100mcg once a day
nebistar 2.5mg for bloodpressure once a day
atorva for cholestrol
zomet SR 500mg once a day
she is worried about her menupause please inform about this

I'm wondering too what she is anxious about. Do you mean looking at the heading of your post question, she is worried she is not at the correct age for menopause? Anyway, the average age for menopause is 51 years old, but you can go 5 yrs either side. A menopause at the 40 age group is classed as a premature menopause. Hope this helps.
