Feelings without a thyroid

I had both lobes of my thyroid removed a year ago. i have gained 12 pounds since then. My emotions are all over the place. I could cry everyday. I've told my doctor about this and he says my numbers on my blood work are good. I really don't think this medicine is working for me the way it should. I don't feel anything like I did before they took my thyroid out. What options do I have?

Just because your thyroid test results are within the so-called "normal" limits does not mean they are adequate for YOU.  There is lots of info we need to give you about all this, but first please post your thyroid test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.
