If you need to go to the ER dont hesitate .I know I was getting all the same feelings before my surgery last year. The feeling of doom woudl come over me but back then I didn t know it was my thyroid
Try some differnt relaxation techniques like a nice candlelit bath and some peaceful music to take your mind off the worry.I like to visualize all the bad ngative feelings are washed down the drain .Deep breathing and visulaiztion of good things will help as well.
If you keep feeling this way then go to ER if you feel you need to.
Keep posting to let me know how you are doing.I do understand what you are feeling I am bi polar and I have been suicidal 3 time before in my life. But you hang in there.Know you arent alone and that we care for you.
You hang in there.
Love Venora
Hey, I know how you feel. I felt the same way right before I knew what was going on with me. I thought I was having a heart attack and ended up in the E.R. I also had frequent bowel movements and felt hungry all of the time. I thought something was horribly wrong with me. I also felt like I was in a brain fog. They checked my thyroid a week later and then finally got my results back a week after that. I was on Toprol ever since I got out of the hospital. After my results came back hyperthyroid they started me on a low dose of PTU which helped tremendously. My endo. switched me to Tapazole after I had my nuclear thyroid scan. Like Venora says, keep your stress levels down which helps and go to the E.R. if you feel like you have to. When they start you on some meds. you will start to feel better. Hang in there, I know it's hard but you will get better and at least you know what is causing your symptoms, It could have been something a lot worse than thyroid issues, at least that is the way I look at it!
