HELP WITH RESULTS???

Ok Please help I just got a copy of my lab results and never seen this bad in results what does this mean?? When I had my son in July my levels were really low TSH was 0.089

now my labs as follows

T4 (Free) 0.80 (reference range 0.82-1.77)
TSH 35.43 (reference range 0.45-4.5)
Thyroid Stim Immunolobulin 36
Triiodothyronine *T3*  70 Reference range 83-200
Thyroid Peroxidase TPO 489 High  Reference Range 0-34

What does this mean that they need to raise my dose again? or does this mean I'm Hyper?? I'm confused and never seen my labs this out of wack...!!!!! They currently have me on 88mcg

Yes, definitely, you're okay as long as you get back on the right dose.  Almost all of us go through these temporary swings back and forth from hypo to hyper as our meds are being adjusted.  I would suggest that if you've been at 100 mcg and felt hyper and 88mcg and your labs now look quite hypo, you might try a dose somewhere in between.  I'd suggest alternating 88/100 every other day.  After that adjustment (4-5 weeks), you can take another look at labs and symptoms and see where you need to go from there.  Don't forget that you are chasing a moving target.  The TPOab are destroying more of your thyroid function all the time, so your body is less and less able to produce hormones of its own.  Therefore, you will have to increase meds to compensate for this.

This is just a thouht to keep in the back of your mind perhaps for a later date.  If you are asymptomatic at your current levels, it may be that you are one of the people (like me) who is quite comfortable in the lower part of the range.  We hear from many people who have to be in the upper part of the range to feel good,  I was told over and over again that I needed to nudge my FT3 and FT4 up in the range, but it just didn't work for me.

Relax!  As I said, we've all been through this.  It's a pain, but it's not going to do you in tomorrow!

I've been HYPO for about 2 years and had it all under control, but every since I had my son back July 8th of this year my levels went really really low. So they lowered my dose from 100mcg to 88, and now my TSH is very low. I was having alot of anxiety attacks. But I've been taking this new dose of 88mcg for about 1 month and 1 week now, My throat has been feeling funny, I don't know if it's a cold or not, I'm so nervous, I know i will get better I just hate it's its like a roller coaster. I have had so much engery it's not even funny...Now they will raise my meds back up and I'll be back to being tired again.. *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I would rather get my levels back to normal again. SO Im ok right as long as I get back on the right dose?

It's not immediately dangerous.  Low levels of thyroid hormone take a relatively long time to do their damage.  But some people are hypo for years and years without suffering any permanent damage.  Did you have hypo symptoms, and have they gone away?

But is this dangerous I'm litterally sitting here freaking out because I've never seen my numbers like this and I'm scared to death that something is really wrong, I'm so tired of this it's like a yo yo. I go see my new doctor tomorrow so I'm hoping that things will get better!!! I've been eating like a horse its terrible, but overall I've been feeling WONDERFUL

Looks like you are definitely hypo and the TPOab indicates Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.

I wonder --- is that T3, total or free?  If it's total, you want to make sure you ask for Free next time.

You should talk to your doctor asap and try to get an adjustment on your med.

Yes, your high TSH and low FT4 indicate that you are hypo and that you need a meds increase.  Your T3 test looks like a total T3, which is considered an obsolete test and pretty much a waste of money.  Next time, request free T3.  Since your TPOab is elevated, an autoimmune disease (Hashi's) is indicated.  Any stress (like pregnancy and delivery among many others) can cause Hash's to surface.  Often, there is an initial "hyper" phase (like your very low TSH after your son was born), followed by hypo (which is lifelong).
