TSH RESULY 0.06uIU/ML 16 WEEKS PREGNANT

I M 38 YEARS OLD AND 16 WEEKS PREGNANT. MY TSH LEVEL 0.06uIU/ML. WHAT PRECAUTION AND MEDINE TO BE TAKEN. SHOULD I CONSULT ENDOCRINOLOGISTS?

TSH is not enough to test.  TSh in pregnancy can appear low as the test is affected by pregnancy hormones.  It may not mean you are hyperthyroid.

Your doctor needs to to Test FT3 and FT4.  These should both be at the top of the reference range during pregnancy!  If these numbers are ok, then you may not need any treatment and monitoring will be done.

Recomend you see an endocrinologist.

Further testing is necessary before anything should be done.  Let us know how you go.

You should consult with an endo.  Thyroid function can cause harm to a fetus.  Please seek doctors advice.
