My surgery for a TT was supposed to be today, but has been reschuled for the 28th.  I was really anxious about trying to figure out what to expect.  This site has helped me so much in terms of hearing about other people's experiences and getting an idea of what to expect.  I am so thankful that I found it!

Hi --- FNA is a fine needle aspiration biopsy used to determine what a nodule is made up of (cancer vs. non cancer, etc.)  To help some more, there is a link in the health pages about FNA's which can be accessed easily in our Welcome message on top of this page.  Glad to help ...

I am having my thyroid remove on 4-20.  I am a little neverous -not to bad.  I mainly just want the noose around my neck to go away!  I am more worried about getting levels regulated after surgery.  I am taking 100 mg of synthryriod now and ENT will increase to 125 after surgery.  Waiting to hear from Endo as to when he wants to see me after surgery.  I hope that after I heal, I will have energy again!  My husband and kids have been very supportive-I think that is what is helping me keep it together.
