White noise and levothyroxine

I had a bad reaction to WP thyroid while on vacation and local doctor put me on generic levothyroxine.  I am now having constant headaches and white noise/buzzing in my ears.  What is going on?  I will be on vacation for another 4 weeks.

I was on the lowest dose of WP thyroid 16.25 for about 2 weeks and was trying to increase.  I had a major panic attack, jittery, teeth chattering, it felt like I was getting the flu, heart palps...it was rough.

He gave me 25mcg of levo but I have only been taking 12.5 and will slowly increase to 25 mcg.  I am not currently in the US and the local doctor said to have blood work done when I got back to the US.

I have been on levo for a week but I will not be able to maintain this brand of Levo as it is not manufactured in the US.

Hypothyroidism can cause ringing/buzzing in ears.  What dosage of WP were you on and what dosage of levothyroxine did the doctor put you on...

WP has both T4 and T3 in it and levothyroxine has only T4.  It's not unusual for symptoms to worsen or for new ones to appear when changing med(s) dosage(s), before they get better.

What kind of reaction did you have from WP?  How long had you been on it?  How long have you been on the levo?

Did the doctor do new blood work prior to switching you to levo?  If so, please post your lab results here, with the reference ranges, so we can see what your actual levels are and make a better assessment of your situation.
