He also found a cyst at the back of my throat that is filled with green fluid? And my tonsils have white cysts/ bumps all over them so they might need to be removed.
I saw an ENT today and he wants to biopsy the more solid nodule and also do a barium swallow test. I'll keep you posted.
Red and blue is the blood flow; swollen lymph nodes under jaw are not cause of concern but swollen nodes around the base of the neck should be evalutated.
Also, my lymphnodes swelled up in my head and neck and they couldn't figure out why. They gave me a cortisone shot to relax them, and they did seem to go down but never completely went away. Now it feels like they are swelling up again.
Thank you for responding. I did see him turn on the blood flow monitor during the test and it looked like there was some red and blue circulating but it wasn't on the report. I have been having some bleeding issues also so they did some blood work at the hospital. I don't see the TPO or the ESR rate though. There is one called Abs Eosinophils that was slightly elevated though. It was 0.9 K/uL with a reference range of 0.0-0.7. The %Eosinophils was also raised. It was 9.1 % with a reference range of 0.0-7.0. I'm not sure if that helps at all. I could also tell you the other ones that were elevated if you think it would help.
Right lobe: 5.2 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm -- volume is about 5.3 ml (average 3.5, max 9)
T he largest nodule lower pole measures 1.2 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm and is mostly cystic. Adjacent more solid nodule measures 1.0 x 0.8 x 1.0 cm. --this one may need investigation if hypoechoic ior has internal blood flow--- Nodule within upper pole measures 0.6 x 0.5 x 0.7 cm.--not clinically significant
The left lobe of thyroid measures 5.1 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm volume 3.7 ml near normal.
Nodules do not have clinical significance.
Missing information; condition of lymph nodes and blood flow study in the gland and nodules (Power Doppler flow)
Assuming nodules do not have blood flow and lymph nodes are normal the present ultrasound may indicate advanced stage of thyroid inflammation (thyroidits)
Blood tests for TPO ab's and ESR rate are needed to find what sub type of thyroiditis you are having.
I also had a blood test done and my TSH 3rd GEN was 2.35 ulU/ml with the reference range between 0.400-4.200
