Help

Can anybody help.  I am really confused.  I have been diagnosed with Thyroid Antibodies recently.  I already have an under active Thyroid.  My doctor upped my Thyroxine from 225 to 250mcg.  I am feeling very low and constantly cold.  I am very confused and do not really know much about these antibodies, I cannot find anything on the Internet for Antibodies when you are already being treated for an underactive Thyroid.  I am also struggling to concieve does anybody know if my Thyroid or Antibodies can affect this.

I have had hypothyroidism for the last six years, but only been diagnosed with Antibodies in the last month.  it is driving me crazy my TSH has gone up and now i feel like I am back to square one.  blood tests upping my Thyroxine more blood tests.  Cold depressed itchy and constantly crying, its crazy.  I have heard that having Antibodies attack your Thyroid and make you hypothyroidsm, but I am already being trated for that way before I got the Antibodies.  i dont understand how I can get these when I am already on thyroxine.  Im seriously thinking about putting my Thyroid on Ebay with free postage.  LOL

just did a bit of surfing and read up about hashimotos. It is a form of thyroiditis and is an auto-immune disorder, the thyroiditis results in hypothyroidism...if i read all the jargon correctly.

That is a pretty heavy dose of Thyroxine, for you to still have hypo t symptoms.  If you would please post actual numbers and reference ranges from your thyroid testing, we can provide better response.
