Hypo to hyper

Hi All! I am in Hashitoxicosis hell! I have been taking .88 mcg levothyroxine for 2 years. I was diagnosed with Hashis ( hypothyroid for 10 years ago. I have been on Levothyroxine the whole time with slight increase/decreases over the years with no real issues. In April I was experiencing weight loss, anxiety, panic, sore muscles, palpatations and difficulty breathing. My TSH came back at .49 which is way to high for me! Doc reduced me to .75, still to high, then to .50 which was good but got to tired, I was then doing rotation of .75 mcg/50mcg however got exhausted! I am now on .75mcg and doing better though still some days of high anxiety! I will be retesting in a week for TSH/T3/T4 ( doc only tested TSH in April) Does anyone have any suggestions? Will I ever get back to normal? I am 63 years old and the last time this happened was back in 2010!

I know it is very hard to reduce stress if the stressor is still present but ways to help with the stress include taking a good multi vitamin and listen to calming music or watching medication videos etc. I did neither at the time. smh.

I am doing my best to ride it out as well! Doc gave me sedatives if needed to ride out the anxiety/panic if needed while my thyroid works to level out!

Pesky stress! LOL  I wasn't on thyroid medication at the time.  The doctor offered to prescribe anti thyroid medication but I thought I would see if I improved first and eventually I did.

I wrote a list of conventional and alternative treatments to help with hyperthyroid symptoms...

Wow  thanks for the input Red Star! Yes I was under a lot of stress both times this happened! I do notice that if I get stressed I  feel worse! Did you have to regulate your meds during that time? I hate this feeling! I do best with TSH of 1.9. Any ideas how to ride this storm?

For me it's related to stress. Severe stress triggered very hyperthyroid symptoms for two months. Once the stress was gone the hyperthyroidism was gone but it took a year for pretibal myxedema to go away.
