Yes, I can understand that you aren't in the best of health and you have my full sympathy and support. There's no need to be sorry for anything. We'll be glad to help you to the best of our ability, but I'm sure you understand that we can only do that with the correct information.
I can fully understand that you would not be able to tolerate 1800 mcg of eltroxin... I've never heard of anyone ever having a dose that high, even with a TSH of 234, which, while high, is not the highest we've ever seen. My first impulse is to question your doctor since it takes 4-6 weeks for a dose of T4 such as Eltroxin to reach full potential in your blood, but I won't do that until you're able to provide more information.
As soon as you can, please post your T3 and T4 results and let me know if they are Total or Free T3 and T4. Also be sure to include the reference ranges from the lab, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
As you can imagine barb I am still not in the best of health, and I am very sensitive and emotional at the moment..
I must clear up a few of my mistakes I made in my last comment.
regarding dosage of eltroxin it was very high doses the daily intake was 1800mcg .I could only tolerate this dose for 2 days as I developed some palpitations from it
then it was 300mcg 6 hourly for 2 more days then it was 150mcg twice daily. Sorry for the confusion
Hey

What medication did your endo have you on when you were hospitalized? The typical med for hypothyroidism is levothyroxine, however, levo is dosed in mcg, rather than mg, and giving that much every 4 hours is unheard of, since it takes 4-6 weeks for levothyroxine to reach full potential in your blood.
It would also be very helpful if you can tell us what your T4 and T3 levels were, since those are actually more important than TSH. Also were they Free T4 and Free T3 or were they Total T4 and Total T3? They aren't the same tests. Be sure to include reference ranges with any lab results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
Because of the exhaustion, I'd also wonder if you've had vitamin B-12 levels tested, since B-12 deficiency can cause the most horrible fatigue/exhaustion imaginable.
