I know sugar does a lot of damage to the body, but I'd quit eating sugar quite a while before I was ever even diagnosed with my goiter and it developed anyway, so I can't imagine that quitting sugar would minimize one. Nor have I ever seen any articles about reducing goiter by eliminating or limiting sugar, and I do keep my eyes open for such articles - not just blogs or testimonials.

In her blog (http://fitterbytheday.life/meet-coach-hey-say-or-simply-sarah) she claims that she was able to minimize her goiter by quitting sugar. So far I was not able to find any academic articles about "reducing goiter size by quitting or limiting sugar consumption". (I do not look for popular articles)
