pregnancy with NO THYROID

I need to have my thyroid completely removed and Iam concerned with the effects it will have on pregnancy in the future,,,I have a two year old but would like to have another child....my endo does not speak very good english and always just says that it will be fine but does not go into any details of how it will be different than a normal pergnancy....anyone out there with exsperience in the subject

To start with, it is very hard to fall pregnant if your thyroid levels are not stable.
I would be asking WHY your thyroid has to come out.
If it is removed, you will be on replacement thyroid medication for life and although some people get their levels stable within a year....some usually take a few years for them to be stable.
Ask questions if I was you and if they arent forthcoming...go to another Doctor.
