Nodule found on back of thyroid.

Dr found nodule on posterior side of my thyroid. needle biopsy scheduled for tomorrow  Is there any difference that affects my condition as to where the nodule is located. Are they mostly on the front ? ANy help will be appreciated

A nodule is a nodule no matter where it is located on the thyroid.  The more important issues is; what type of nodule, how many, how large and growth progress rate.

Others with personal experience might have more info for you.  Good luck with the biopsy.  Keep in mind that only a small percentage is cancerous.

Thank yu for your reply  It has been  so long since I have felt good, I dont even know what it is like  I just puch to get throught each day. No energy choking feeling in my throat etc etc  Thanks again for your help

Wishing you well with your biopsy - are you having a needle biopsy?  I just had mine yesterday and the waiting for results seems to be the hardest thing.  That and the swelling.
