Thank you Laura, The ultrasound will be performed in a week or two. I know I have been exausted more lately then normal, my hair is noticable thinner then it was 2 years ago and has lost it's natural curl. Losing weight... not an option been there tried it even with exercise with a dietician help. She thought something was wrong other then my eatting and exercise. On the average I walk 2 miles at work on any given day.
Hopefully your Dr has told you to take Vit B12 sublinguals, unless she has offered shots. Also a TSH does not show the actual "active" thyroid hormone in the body. TSH is a pituitary function test. The Free T4 and Free T3 are the tests to show the actual thyroid hormone levels. You should also have a thyroid ultrasound done to check size and for nodules.
