Do you mean you felt pregnant?  This might be a sign of high cortisol level.  Have you had any labs taken lately?  Do you take any other medications?  More information, please . . .

Thank you for your response.

Levothyroxine may cause seizures at the beginning of treatment and sounds like you were over dosed and/or dosed too quickly, which is not the fault Levothyroxine. (?)

What are you taking now?

The seizures had to be scary!

A correction I was given Levothyroxin 50 MCG Tab for a low thyroid.  TSH level of 12.5.  I had gained 96 pounds in two and a half years before I went to the doctor.  I weighed 105 pounds for thirty five years.  I first lost 15 pounds in one month eating lots of food.  Then I started gaining weight rapidly until I weighed 186 pounds.  I only loss five pounds on this drug and was on it for five months.  The doctor then switched me to Armour Thyroid 30 MG.  I have loss 60 pounds in six months.

My weight shifted to my thighs, I had breast milk, I got a bad case of hemorrhoids and my period stopped.  The only other drug I was on was one for high blood pressure name Lisinopril 40 MG.

You should be getting blood test every 4-6 weeks.  You might have hit a plateau and need more medication adjustment.  You need to call your doctor and if he will not agree to this, then find another doctor you can work with who is interested in your health and well being.  Make an appointment with an endocrinologist and in the meantime, get another doctor.  It is not worth your suffering to stick with one who is not open minded enough to realize that you need more help.  There could be another problem that needs attention and you need to find out, quickly.   Good luck and keep us posted.

My doctor sent me to a sleep disorder clinic because I couldn't sleep since starting thyroid. He now is sending me to a cardiologist because my blood pressure will just rise to 147/107 with a heart rate of 103 for two hours then go down.  He believes me now I went to the emergency room when it started happening.  Next is a neurologist then the endocrinologist.  He said order of importance.  My TSH level is 2.0. and I have lost 60 pounds.

sound like you need a new doctor.  I would almost bet that you are hyperthyroid.  Skip the neurologist go to the endocrinologist. Did he do a free t4 and a free t3, t4 and t3 or just a TSH?  In what time frame have you lost the 60lbs?  Go to www.aboutthyroid.com take both checklists and take it to the endo doctor.  Heart palpatations and high blood pressure are related to your thyroid and will happen during hyperthyroidism.  Are you on any thyroid meds?  I went 5 years with symptoms and the doctors blamed it on everything else.  I weighed 98lbs my whole life and got down to 85lbs when I first went to the doctor 1998- it wasn't until 2004 and I was in thyroid crisis for Graves before anyone wanted to listen or do anything.   I hope this helps-good luck
