Thank you for your support, I hope it will go way, i think I still deserv to have some fun in my life after all this thyroid crazy simptoms, I will be 48 this week.
Hugs to you too.
I lost my libido for a long time but slowly it started coming back.
I think 'self esteem' had a lot to do with it on my part.
I gained 16 kilograms prior to RAI so i felt like a blob :(
I didnt feel sexy, I didnt feel anything to be honest.
Then I decided........what you see is what you get.
I sat and explained all my feelings to my partner and luckily enough, am with someone who was patient...took the time to accept the person I was after RAI and now I have no problems, except for the usual tiredness sometimes.
My self esteem started to 'come back' and things started to sort themselves out in the bedroom department.
The only problem I have now is ...my bowels never returned to the'normal' routine I had for years.
I still find them 'sluggish ' at times.
Give yourself time Rose.....
Hugs
People still have a libido?
Between tamoxifen, chemotherapy, menopause and levothyroxine I'm thinking no...... I don't recall any libido!
Yes, my libido is also nil, as well as, painful intercourse. I am also 48 and going through menopause. Very frustrating isn't it. I hope someone out there has some suggestions.
