Are you already on thyroid medication? Do you have hyper symptoms? Have you ever had an FT3 test done?
TSH is a pituitary hormone and is not a good indicator of thyroid status; nor is it TSH levels that cause symptoms, heart issues or bone loss. It's the presence or absence of the active thyroid hormones (FT3 and FT4) that cause or alleviate symptoms/health issues.
Free T3 correlates best with symptoms and it's high levels of FT3 that are linked with bone loss, not low TSH. You should get an FT3 test done and if those levels are good, you are probably okay; however, if you have high FT3 levels to correspond with the low TSH, you may have cause for concern.
low tsh with a normal t4 levels imply that u have subclinical hyperthyroidism, for which your boby is compensating.. so u dont need to do any thing other than wait n watch with regular thyroid function tests and follow up with your physician..
