thanks for the reply.i looked back over tests from Dec till now and see no test for what you mention. The dr.went over my lab results with me on july 24,i dont see her again untill sept 7.she is very good about going by symtoms.I just started the cytomel on july 24 1/2 0f a 5 mcg pill, been on generic sunthroid since april 15 1 1/2 pill of a 25 mcg pill.the last coupke days i upped it myself to 50 mcg of synthroid and 1 5 mcg pill of cytomel 1/2 in morning  1/2 in afternoon. I do feel better, have ha sex last two nights, which is rare!On the 24 dr also put me on 5 mg of dhea.im on estratest and femring ,just went off prozac aftr a year on it i tapered off, still on wellbutrin sr and xanax/hoping after getting thyroid in order i can get off the other meds.I do take vitamin d3,and and trying l lysine, l cartine and l tyrosine,,,dr said i could try them.but i think i read where one of them messes with thryoid,,not sure.I have been gripey since July and dont know why,and this last week my fingers are swollen, maye from upping my meds....i know i shold not up without talking to dr...but everyone said my levels r pretty low so i figured it wont hurt.My dr is actually a nurse practioner that specilizes in bio identical hormones and hormones..i do now i have a cyst on my pineal gland but all drs say no worries,it was checked a year agoa nd still benign. Thanks for all info and anymore would be great!

A good thyroid doctor will treat a hypo patient clinically by testing and adjusting levels of Free T3 and Free T4 as necessary to relieve symptoms.  Symptom relief should be all important, not just test results.

Your July test results appear to still be too low to get symptom relief.  Doctors like to wait for 4-6 weeks after a meds change, before retesting and dosage adjustment.  You should be due shortly for retesting and a dose adjustment.  Those adjustments will need to continue until you get symptom relief.  One thing that you should be aware of is that symptoms tend to lag behind changes in blood levels of thyroid hormones.  The change is not overnight.  Getting your meds to the right dosage and your symptoms relieved takes some patience.

Perhaps I did not look back far enough in your previous posts, but were you ever tested for the thyroid antibodies TPO ab and TG ab?
