new lab results after adjusting synthroid

lab results from 3 weeks ago. tsh 0.053, Ft4 1.45 T4 9.9, T3 138, Ft3 2.8 cholestrol total 243.
Todays results  tsh  0.100    range 0.450-4.500
free t4 1.53                                    0.61-1.76
T4  10.6                                             4.5-12.0
t3 uptake  32                                   24-39
ft3   2.9                                          2.3-4.2
cholestrol  total 160                        100-199
everything seems pretty normal except the tsh.  I am now taking 100mcg synthriod.  I am feeling much better no more palputations nor shortness of breath ( maybe just once in a while) I am begining to wonder  if my thyroid healed itself? If I really need this meds. seems like the less I take the better I get., with much better numbers.   As far as the huge drop in cholesterol, I started on lipitor 2 weeks ago.
My doc also gave me cytomel 25mcg , I haven't taken it yet, not sure if I need it.  I really wanted to take it to drop 10 lbs but I really don't want to go hyper again either.  Any suggestions??????????????

He already lowered it from 125 to 112 then to 100mcg , I feel better not much shortness of breath, palputations. ( guess I was really hyper) now its just a bit fatique especially near the end of the day.  I asked my doc about the large dose of cytomel, he said its fine says he takes it himself. Not every doc will even prescribe it.  I treid cutting it down to tiny pieces, took it a few times. Then I was really wired.  I am going to give it another try.  Maybe if I cut my 100mcg in half and take a a half of cytomel it will work better.

Your free t3 level is a little low, and that is why your dr gave you script for cytomel. BUT- that is quite a high of dosage to start with as most only need 5-10 mcg of cytomel. ALSO- when you start cytomel (T3) meds, you have to back off the dosage of T4 med. Your tsh is already at the hyper line......but you do show slow conversion. I would ask your dr to lower your t4 med to maybe an 88 mcg and allow you to take 10 mcg of cytomel daily. Always check levels 6 weeks after a change in meds.
Your thyroid hasnt healed itself, your levels are stabalizing because of the meds.
