Thyroid answers

I have Hashimotos disease. Every time I get sick it seems my thyroid gets out of whack. Over the past few years I've had strep, sinus infection twice, minor surgery and the flu. After each illness my hypo symptoms turn to hyper and takes approx. three to four weeks to return to "normal". I take 25 levoxyol daily. Any ideas on how to prevent the swing into hyper?

The hyper symptoms are what feels like panic attacks. Heart palpitations trembling nasea  dizziness etc. It feels like I've been injected with speed! Then I think I'm going crazy and I hate the feeling so much I get depressed! It goes away gradually over several weeks but it's HELL to go through!! It's better now but the thoughts of going through it again are so scarey! I just wish there was an answer!
