I'm surprised that your pediatric endo. would even test for freet3? Most just assume that it magically converts but will not double check ( must be against some oath they took at their t4 supported medical school) Ha! My daughter was born without a thyroid gland in 2000. Does your child have a thyroid gland?
what about the other hormones,ft3,ft4?and what happens if someone in the age of 2 has low ft3 and normal tsh and ft4.
